Graham Ekins 55 Linnet (First flock of the autumn on unploughted stubble), Wheatear (On stubble east of village, 1st of autumn), 15 Chaffinch (Unusual to have a flock this early. Appeared to be feeding on Hemlock), 25 Goldfinch (Feeding with the Chaffinches), 3 Yellowhammer (Feeding with Goldfinches and Chaffinches), 10 House Martin (3 nests on one house east end of village. Did not start nest building until beginning of June. 2nd brood just hatched. )

Three flocks flying south in quick succession.), 30 Mallard (circa. Including female with brood of two.), 66 Cormorant (Roosting at heronry), 21 Little Egret (Two at start of visit, seven flew in. All flew towards Lofts Farm roost site as did 12 flyovers.), 5 Grey Heron (None present at conclusion of visit having all flown south.), Cetti's Warbler (Heard three times from same location.)
