10 Mute Swan (Pair with eight cygnets), 5 Shoveler (Four males & one female), 9 Pochard (Female with eight young), 5 Little Grebe (Adult & four young. Several other adult present.), 1 Marsh Harrier, 2 Hobby (Hunting in the distance. Later, an adult was seen hunting (& catching) insects over the scrubby field adjacent the railway line (from footpath). Often at close range.), 3 Oystercatcher (Pair with a single youngster.), 1 Mediterranean Gull (Adult. Possibly a second present.), 6 Common Tern (At least.
